Camera Bodies

Camera bodies in my bag . . .

Nikon D-100 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR

See footnote below.

Hasselblad 501CM

Nikon FM2n fully manual 35 mm SLR

Plain vanilla body.  I like its light weight and minimalist controls.

Minolta Vectis APS Weathermatic Zoom

Bought this for wet activities: canoeing, the beach, snorkeling.  Downside: it's APS!

Canon PowerShot G2 4 megapixel digital camera

This is one fun camera.  With the 256Mb memory card I can take nearly 1000 lo-res shots and not ever wonder what'll come back from the lab.  Full complement of controls too.  Too bad it's not an SLR.  But that's next on my list.

I've pretty much stayed with Nikon equipment along the way. In April of 2002 I sold my F5 and my F3 bodies and my F100 in February 2005.  I found I use them anymore.

In November of 2002 I bought a new Nikon D100 digital SLR body.  Thus I begin my serious transition to all digital.  I also bought an Epson 2450 scanner as well as their new high-end Stylus Photo 2200 printer.  Who needs film or labs.  I can do it all myself and I have total control.  The results I get are stunning.
